Worksite Evaluation

This on-site evaluation is offered to determine the fit between the work tasks and the individual's functional capacity through an in-depth job demands analysis and functional screening.  

 
 
 

When is a worksite evaluation required?

This service is offered to an individual who, due to illness or injury have been absent from work and whose job remains available. The evaluation offers the opportunity to liaise with the employer regarding possible reasonable accommodations to enable return to work and identify barriers, including risk for injury. If applicable, a graded return to work plan is provided to offer a guideline to facilitate re-integration into the workplace.

Procedure:

The evaluation takes place at the place of work and comprises of a functional evaluation as well as an in-depth job demands analysis to establish intrinsic tasks. This is done in order to match the individual’s demonstrated functional capacity with the measured job demands. A report is provided, detailing the findings of the evaluation, including a return to work plan, if applicable.
